Sumatra is the daughter of Kona and a full sister to Macchiato. We enjoy her every day. We have rasied her from a puppy and she has been around the house all of her life. She is so gentle that she will come and sit down beside you and wait for you to tell her what to do. She is always asking for permision even before you go out the door.

We work with all of our dogs on obedience training. They come, sit, and some even do tricks. As we are letting them into the house, I make them all sit, then I call each by name to come into the house as the others patiently wait their turn. I also frequently give them treats. I have each dog sit (sometimes all 6 of them) and I call each one by name as they take their treat. Sumatra is a very gentle dog. Her eyes beg you to pet her and then she sits so still when you do pet her. One thing funny about our girls, if you don't look closely, you cannot tell Latte'-Kona-Macchiato-Sumatra a part. There are minor differences, but with just a casual look, they are identical.
